Ridding the world of people with birth defects is not a neutral goal, but one laden with prejudice and unchallenged beliefs about people with labels of disability. And, curiously enough, its about our own assumptions of normalcy. So, making a difference might actually mean rethinking long help beliefs and then acting on our fresh perspectives in ways that truly save lives and enact community.
